"Indoor games?", you ask? Yes! It's a BIG living room -- at least six square meters. The furniture in the living room is just right for all kinds of table-top and floor games.

For those evenings or days when you want to stay inside, we are taking steps to turn Riviera into a major source of entertainment and education, featuring our unique "Experience Jamaica Program™". For your indoor fun, you have access to cable TV, selected major events or movies recorded on video cassettes, and board games. If educational experience strikes your fancy, there are imaginary tours and reviews of different aspects of Jamaican life and scenery, opportunities to start learning (or to upgrade) basic computer skills through the self-training programs that are on our computer (with help from the staff you can get started even if you have never used a computer before), and strategy games. Earphones allow one party to watch TV while the other uses the computer, all at the same time.

 
Not all of Riviera's indoor "edutainment" facilities are free, and there two very good reasons why. The first reason arises from breakdowns of equipment and losses of parts of board games. Also, portions of the educational material available to you require substantial investments of professional time in order to offer you the opportunities provided by these facilities.
 
In short, when you are not having fun in the sun or at some night spot in town, let Riviera be your center for endless hours of engaging entertainment and relaxing beneficial education.

Night life is also close by. The staff will be pleased to take care of your
children or your parents as you spend an evening at Sandals Dunn's River, just a 3-minute drive away. You've heard that Sandals is for adult couples only. And it's true. What you may not have heard is that you can enjoy an evening at Sandals even though your family is staying at a nearby villa.

For about $120 (U.S.) for a couple, you can arrive at Sandals early in the evening and leave as late as 2:00AM the next morning. During your time there you are treated equally with all the other Sandals guests -- dinner, shows, games, the works!
