Pricing:
Prices are variable in the hospitality business. For example, many well-established hotels do not publish prices and when you contact them you will find that the same room can be had for different prices depending on certain conditions. As you probably know, the same is true of seats on an air plane -- the same seat is available at a variety of prices depending on certain conditions. The hospitality business has become so volatile that you are asked to CALL or EMAIL (see the coordinates given above) to get the current pricing and the pertinent conditions.
Pricing for your entire party depends upon the number of occupants, though a minimum price applies for each party. This facility is quite different from a hotel or motel. The price includes your traveling party's exclusive use of the entire set of three bedrooms, the living and dining rooms, the kitchen, the verandah during the period booked. The price also includes the private swimming pool, and your temporary usage of dishes, appliances, utilities (except telephone), bedding, and daily services for room cleaning and linen changes. You will not be faced with sharing the villa with any other party, without your expressed consent. The sleep-in staff sleeps in a nearby cottage. That means you can have total privacy for your party.
There is NO additional fee for housekeeping, daily cleaning of your room and changing of towels and sheets. However, if you wish to have your personal laundry done, please negotiate with the housekeeper and pay extra for that service.
Prices are prepaid.
The published prices do NOT include the cost of food you consume, your personal laundry, telephone calls, tips, special personal services you may need or may request, and air or ground transportation charges, or Jamaica government room and taxes.
There are no service charges at RIVIERA VILLA. Gratuities (tipping) are at your discretion. However, be prepared to negotiate payment for special duties or personal services that you ask the staff to undertake, and for staff work beyond the weekly days and hours established by the Jamaica Ministry of Labour.
